Is Donald Trump the Anti-Christ?

@shortstories I believe Rome was the Beast, Nero the Antichrist, buying and selling vs death was the choice, the Mark of the Beast may have not been a physical mark (maybe), the two witnesses may have been considered to be Paul and John or literally Elijah and Enoch, the whore was Jerusalem, Christ literally returned and the first resurrection happened, the millennial reign happened literally (maybe physically, maybe in "heaven"), Armageddon happened and reset the world, and history is a lie.

@RoninGrey @shortstories I think you might be completely correct in a symbolic / Typological sense; ie the entirety of the Apocalypse represents a timeless unchanging underlying/overarching spiritual reality, playing out in the day-to-day “drama” of billions of lives since the First Century. But I also believe we await an absolute culminative completion of the Revelation in an exact and literal sense, some time down the road.

@KingOfWhiteAmerica @shortstories A very possible outcome. Basically, "They're BOTH correct." Happens all the time.

@RoninGrey @shortstories It’s what makes the most sense, to me; the Letters to the Seven Churches of Asia, for example, clearly and obviously still hold exacting relevance to the sorts of congregations we see up to the present day. Armageddon has “already happened” perhaps dozens of times. The fall of the Russian Empire in 1917 is obviously the removal of “he who restraineth” mentioned in Thessalonians. These are big world-scale examples that come immediately to mind; but of more personal relevance to me, I constantly see instances in my own life where I can “just tell” how events will unfold, because I’m aware of their spiritual underpinnings. Truly, top-tier prophetic literature, utterly unrivaled by anything else.
