A.I. lets musicians and would-be musicians make music with less trouble, no money, and no interference.

It lets creatives make fantastic fan films (Good ones used to be so hard to find) without a budget.

It makes waifus of all types, on demand, any pose, any nudity level, animates them, gives them personality and a real voice, for us to chat with and be consoled by.

I hope you men are taking advantage of this time. Men are the poets, the creators, the ones who love.

@RoninGrey I love that you love AI creation in all its forms, For me, my creative outlet is metal fabrication.
I design parts on CAD for my day job so working w my hands building stuff is a good analog for the digital.
That and cooking.

@marlathetourist That's bad ass, man. I really need to learn to bake some new things. I'm good with stews and meats, and grilling and smoking, but all I really bake is meatloaf and bread.

@marlathetourist Hey, actually, is there a way to get a good foundational, basic crash course on metal fabrication online? I'm thinking of taking a college course, but I don't want to go in completely blind and not knowing shit from fuck.

@RoninGrey By fabricating, I mainly mean welding and TBH my mig welding is self taught from watching YT videos. They aren’t the best looking welds but they are functional and “strong”. TIG welding is another matter and I’m struggling to improve. You cannot improve without putting the time in despite watching videos.
Taking a local shop class is always good as you get hands on experience and have an instructor to answer questions. You learn all the basics at least.

@marlathetourist @RoninGrey Welding is a perishable skill the less you do it,the worse you get at it

@RoninGrey investing in equipment for fabricating is a rabbit hole and if you want my opinion we can go there. TLDR version - depending on your budget and time commitment, the law of diminishing returns applies.
