Comic con here in Houston - I saw 5 normal men.

One was only there for his girlfriend, I could tell. One brought his kids to meet Superman (like me). The other 3 were just normal dudes in a fandom. Guys who probably don't take weiners up the butt & can throw a punch.

The other hundreds & hundreds of guys looked like the mix you'd expect. So did the girls. Mostly fat dorks.

The worst was the artists selling their slop. Signs saying "Hand-drawn, Not A.I." Bitch, we can tell. It looks like shit.

Whole lot of gays and lesbos. Because of course -- the public is what it is these days.

@RoninGrey Well what comics did you buy you Cis gender Male?

@Scubbie I didn't buy anything. My boy met the Superman & Lois from "Superman & Lois" and I got him a Pokemon plushie. Then we left, came home, and had some ramen with hard boiled eggs.

I wanted to see Rachael Leigh Cook but she canceled, I guess.

Most of the vendors were garbage. The smaller, cheaper convention they do twice a year has better shopping.

Short trip, but fun to get out of the house and see some cosplay.

@RoninGrey When I first ever went to Comic Conventions as a kid only the Star Trek adults cosplayed. We went to get comics and play D&D,and Battletech because they would bring out tables of paper mache terrain in the hotel conference room. There was a movie room where they played VHS anime.I watched and bought copies of Akira,Vampire Hunter D and Ninja Scroll. Anime has taken over the events my daughter Cosplayed at the MegaCon in Orlando which has become the largest event at the convention center

@Scubbie This bitch had a HUGE line. I literally have no idea who she is.

@RoninGrey Next time you're in Portland OR, you can play "guess the gender" It doesn't require physical contact. Just your powers of observation. Its a blast.
Seriously, I from a distance, I cannot tell what is male or female based on body shape. They're all fat ass blobs with gender neutral clothing.
