Is Amaru a Peruvian deity or a Japanese deity?

Wikipedia Amaterasu

"Amaterasu Ōmikami (天照大(御)神; Japanese pronunciation: [aꜜ.ma.te.ɾa.sɯ | oː.mʲiꜜ.ka.mʲi][2][3]), often called Amaterasu ([aꜜ.ma.te.ɾa.sɯ], A-ma-TE-russ) for short, also known as Amateru Kami (天照神)[4] and Ōhirume no Muchi (大日孁貴),[5] is the goddess of the sun in Japanese mythology. Often considered the chief deity (kami) of the Shinto pantheon"

@shortstories I think an immortal that is capable of flight and time travel, could influence all cultures under any name it chooses.Compare the two for commonality, the natives of Japanese language and the Peruvian language could be naming the same entity
