This also explain the need for this insane amount of data centres. For a single person's use, we could likely set up a reasonably sized processing unit, but to serve millions of people at the same time, while also have a near instant response time... We need a lot more. And outsourcing kind of make economical sense for the user.

It's like an "internet slang" for those professional smart-asses, who claim to know a lot, but lack critical thinking skills. So, essentially, just a higher tier parrot, who's parroting usually science stuff, but without really understanding it. They can deceive the average listener, but real experts can spot and expose them.

@shortstories Only experience can protect you from up front click bait statistics. But if you give time for the truth to catch up, then the false statistics eventually disappear.

@shortstories This isn't entirely true. Yes, anyone can make up statistics and people might even believe them, if they make them believable enough. However, the study of statistics also teach people in spotting and detecting deceptive statistics. You need to check the source and the method being used as a simple method. If they make no sense, than you're probably getting played. Most common trick nowadays is using very small sample sizes or sampling to fit the expected outcome.

@shortstories Covid was a wealth transfer to big pharma. It was literal theft. The shots never been free. Each one was paid by tax payers everywhere. They also cut multi year deals to fund bio-lab projects. Rishi Sunak here in the UK made multiple 10 year contract to fund Moderna labs on taxpayer money.
And yeah, the shot was dangerous, but mostly because the public was intentionally misinformed about their function. Luckily only a small % of the population suffered long term effects or death.
