@Stahesh
Dietary fiber is a substance that cannot be digested by endogenous digestive enzymes but can be digested by the cellulolytic enzymes produced by intestinal microorganisms. In the past, dietary fiber was considered an anti-nutrient component in diets because it could resist digestion by endogenous enzymes secreted by the intestine and has a negative effect on the digestion of energy-producing nutrients.

"Fiber can act as an antinutrient, as it often encapsulates nutrients in cell walls of plant-based feed ingredients, negatively influences viscosity of digesta, and impacts mineral absorption through the chelating properties of some fiber moieties"

"dietary fibers (DF)"

"DF from different cereals such as wheat, rye, and barley, etc., either in insoluble or soluble forms, can exert an antinutritive effect in poultry by depressing AME, starch digestibility, nitrogen retention, and other nutrient utilization"

"With existing challenges of the antinutritional effect of DF, further research is warranted"

@shortstories Saw today video from doctor that went carnivore and he basically said the same thing.

How atleast for 7-8 years he did not eat fiber.

Talked how fiber inhibit your food absorption.

@Stahesh

Problem is carbohydrate helps prevent muscle loss and the carnivore diet has no carbohydrate

No carbohydrates is very bad for high intensity endurance athletes

Simply reducing the amount of fiber in flour like plant foods might help without going no carbohydrate

People probably removed the fiber from grains for a reason when activities levels were higher and people could not easily eat enough whole grains to get enough carbohydrate calories without digestive pains

@shortstories only bad if you are not fat adapted so your body want to burn sugars when the storages are low.

If you eat only meat you will not suffer muscle loss you can try it yourself with carnivore diet.
