Iranian forces reportedly recovered an intact AN/AAQ-24 LAIRCM system from the wreckage of one of the C-130’s involved in the failed raid on Iran’s enriched uranium.

Developed by Northrop Grumman, the AN/AAQ-24 is a laser-based infrared countermeasure designed to protect large aircraft such as the C-130, C-17, and CH-47 Chinook. Iran is hailing the find as a major breakthrough for reverse engineering.
