If SpaceX Starship had a simpler expendable upper stage (like the Falcon 9), while using its reusable V1 booster, it can fly an Apollo manned Moon mission every month. If someone can build an Apollo CSM and LEM every month that is.

If Starship was fully expendable in both stages, it would be carrying 400+ metric tons to orbit.

But it's not for flags and footprints, so the difficult testing program for full reusability is pursued instead.

@StarProphet I think a lot of people don't appreciate how impressive it is to have a new upper stage ready every two days. That is a truly insane production rate, especially considering that each upper stage engine needs to go through testing.

They are flying to the ISS on a brand new Crew Dragon (the 5th one built). They will be giving it a new name.

Foreigners, waving foreign flags, attacking US troops. Looks like a foreign military invasion to me.

The only limit to Falcon 9's flight rate (avg every 2.3 days) is Falcon 9's expendable upper stage. The booster and fairings are reusable.

But when you have both stages of an orbital rocket being reusable, you can do daily orbital launches.

Imagine what becomes possible if you can launch Saturn V sized payloads every day, instead of once every few years.

A rocket factory that builds rockets bigger than the Saturn V. A lot can be done in half a decade.

Ship 37 quick disconnect adaptor. With a FME adaptor.

Ship 36, 37, and 38 are the three remaining V2 Starship upper stages to attempt flight. Ships 39+ are going to be the 9 engine V3 upper stages, that are almost as tall as the V1 Starship booster.

@judgedread @5arrows >because I am too selfish to want to spend time in prison

You would be amazed what you can get away with when you do your homework, have a plan, and do not ever speak to anyone about it before or afterwards :HazeSmug:
Can someone explain to me why @judgedread is so polarizing?

His primary topics include politics, entertainment, and questioning Christianity. Nothing he says is particularly controversial, yet he seems to drive people crazy.

I follow him here and back when he was on Gab and I never found his poasts to be inciting in any way. His political takes are actually pretty good And accurate.

While I don’t agree with him on everything and As a Christian, I get why he may upset you with his thoughts, but nothing he says on that topic is anything unique to him. Many people feel the way he does.

Anyone who has been on the fediverse longer than I have, I would be very interested to know your thoughts on why people find him so polarizing.
