One of the problems the larger /ourguy/ community has is a shortage of people who understand *both* science/technology and culture/memetic warfare. For example, a bunch of my Orthobros know all about the jews, the corruption of the media especially movies, inconvenient history that has been covered up, etc. but then they will open their mouths about technology and say retarded shit.

Orthobro: "The government is using EM fields to cause earthquakes thousands of miles away."
Countermeasures: "Dude, that would be waaaay too much work. They'd just plant a nuke in the fault line like Lex Luthor."

You are protected from this because you read and watched enough good scifi as part of becoming a media expert.

These aren't low IQ retards either: some of them have produced quality academic research within their own domain, some of which should be poasted here somehow once I solve the OPSEC problem. However, as you said, their big ignorance on technical matters means they flop big time when they expose this ignorance to Musk and Friends.
