@sardonicsmile I agree that humans are narcissistic to an extent, but definitely not everyone. I think people in general need a sense of purpose to living, something that emotionally drives them. I agree with what TFM's analogy that logic and reason are in the passenger seat holding the map, but its ultimately emotions that drive us.
