@sardonicsmile Not good way to start a conversation by talking about your race.

@TenaciousGoat the problem with renting a field if you gotta know someone that rents a field or ask random people i couldn't dot hat lol. ifi couldn't have chickens, i got a friend who'd let me basically keep his flock and mine together i'd have to still feed and water them etc but i've never wanted to do it cuz i hate the idea of having to travel to get their eggs and stuff daily.

@reallyangry I just had an idea though, maybe I can rent out a storage area and have a mini chicken coop there..

@reallyangry It’s good information to know because I want chickens for eggs, but I’m living at an apartment, it’s not really an option.

@TenaciousGoat chicks are basically independent and can take care of themselves soon as they cna walk just give htem some heat lamp till they get feathers then they can reuglate their temps too and they're fine just give htem enough food and water

@reallyangry I don’t know anything about raising chickens, but I assume this is too many chicks for one person.

@TenaciousGoat yeah, it's a niche audience for sure, especially at the price. I can't even recommend it for guys to use on their own at that price.

@Tfmonkey Saw the review, not for me but I appreciate you think of the audience the toy could be for.

Does Vitamin D Mimic the Effect of Anabolic Steroids?
Analysis by Dr. Joseph Mercola

https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2025/04/26/does-vitamin-d-mimic-effect-anabolic-steroids.aspx?

Story at-a-glance
Vitamin D influences key hormones like leptin, an energy balancer, and myostatin, which limits muscle growth. It plays a direct role in how your body manages energy, builds muscle and regulates fat storage through various metabolic pathways

A study published as a preprint on Research Square found that high-dose vitamin D increases muscle strength, reduces myostatin, shifts calories toward muscle development and enhances metabolic rate

Vitamin D mimics anabolic steroids by suppressing myostatin to optimize muscle growth, redirecting energy from fat storage to muscle tissue and boosting metabolic rate
Optimal vitamin D levels for health and disease prevention range from 60 to 80 ng/mL (150 to 200 nmol/L). Test twice a year and adjust your supplemental dose based on your results
Natural sunlight is the ideal vitamin D source, as it provides benefits beyond vitamin D production. However, make sure to reduce your consumption of vegetable oil before sun exposure

@abgreport Going outside is good for you, confirmed by science. Sounds silly when you say it out loud.

@ladyred Doesn’t seem as likely as the article claims. Robots are very expensive, also where’s the demand?
