The more shares you have the bigger interest you have in seeing the company succeed. Got a cute wife? Shares, a big house? Shares, the ability to retire? Shares. Young people have no shares, they have nothing invested in the American company. Why should they give a fuck if the company goes out of business? There’s no profit motive for them.
