Something I realized about separating responsibility from authority is that it creates an endless cycle of apathy and degradation.

If you have responsibility for something but no authority and a problem happens, you just want to the problem to go away as fast as possible. But since you have no authority there’s nothing you can do to prevent other problems from happening.

So you just become apathetic and lazy & you just want to “make it to Friday” endlessly. And that’s why nothing gets better.

@vic I had a whole document, but then I lost it. Or maybe it never existed to begin with.

@verita84 Doesn’t matter, King Koopa with an army at his disposal. Or some guy with power ups who has to collect coins to buy things.

Anime recommendation

The Idaten know only Peace
This anime is not for the faint of heart
The style will fool you

The plot is Idaten’s who are gods have sealed demons away after 800 years, they’re a couple who are still around but it’s quite peaceful until they stumble upon a frozen demon. It evolves into a war between the Idaten’s and the remaining demons. The demons are outmatched, but extremely resilient and clever.

@Tfmonkey
Some people unironically say "it costs nothing to be a good person".

Dumbest line ever told.

Thoughts

When you join a discord call with a group of guys to watch full metal jacket and they start pausing the movie and do dick measuring contests with each other. Like guys you’re behind a screen watching a movie on discord no one cares about how much weight you can lift or how you were in the marines.

I understand men are just like this because it’s natural, but sometimes I want to just vibe and watch a movie. So I left and it’s just all so tiresome.

If you’re under the age of say 50 you should really be an accelerationist at this point.
