Had a minor greese fire in my kitchen this morning, while boiling water ironicly. Looks like I should of cleaned the heating element more often. Fortunately I didn't give into my first thought and douse it with water. I remembered that will spread burning greese and what you are supposed to do is cut off the air. That could of gone very badly had I not remembered how to properly deal with a greese fire. Knowledge really is power.
