Good take. Honestly had the same gut instinct that this is opportunistic considering the amount of resources already pledged (and sent) to ukraine. Obviously Hamas has been planning this for a while and biding time. With the amount of success they've had this is clearly well organized.

I also largely agree with The Lardy One's take. They've forced US onto the horns of a resource dilemna.
Many things hidden will now be forced out into the open.
