Zionism is a colonizing pseudo-religion. Not an ideology. Without the religious elements it could never get grab the levers of power.
That's why some, not all, Orthodox sects are anti-Zionist. They see clearly how it is heretical.
Religiously it's been able to colonize:

Through propaganda, blackmail & bribes it's co-opted:
* all Western politics
* academia/schools
* banking
* media
* big tech
* atheists
* Catholocism
