On the note of the Will of the Force from Star Wars always seeking balance between the dark and the light, if the dark is using the force for your own will, and light is letting yourself be used by the force, on the surface you have few options. While we could explore the idea of your will being the Will of the Force as all return to the Force on death, unfortunately we have a clash of eastern and western thought which is not easily reconcilable. It's better to simply study philosophy.
One of the more interesting developments that the internet has created in the last 2 years has been the debate-sphere.
And in that sphere, the concept of "worldview" has gained serious ground - epistemology, ethics, metaphysics - as a way to encapsulate & evaluate opposing religions and ideologies.
The result has been fantastic. We're in the middle of global worldview MMA cage fight - redpill vs feminism vs tradcath vs atheist vs Islam vs Christianity vs Zionism vs communism, etc..
We are all finally getting to see and hear these various philosophical & religious ideas being thrashed out.
When it comes down to it, all of them are essentially battling for the minds and futures of the young.
In particular we're seeing Islam, Zionism, Feminism and progressive Enlightenment atheism under a brighter light than we've ever seen before, and many people hate what they see in clearer detail than ever before.
This is the real reason behind the mass Western censorship.
Arguably, the highest goal of a society is to optimize the conditions for producing the next generation, so that they can inherit prior achievements and build on them.
So simple. And it sounds so obvious when you say it out loud, except it couldn't be clearer that we have the exact opposite goals in play.
@UncleIroh If society could be said to be a living entity much as humans are a collection of cells, the highest goal does remain the same: to survive and reproduce. Inheritance is a means to the end of want satisfaction which has been stored in capital (either monetary or physical). Each generation seeks to survive and reproduce. I'm not disagreeing; I think inheritance isn't the impetus, however.
Today, idealism attempts to force human nature to act self-destructively (to put it simply).
