Sure, tell that to the Romanians who have been told that the candidate they overwhelmingly voted for is forbidden.
In a complete mask-off moment, actual power (EU & NATO), straight up cancelled the election because Georgescu was going to win. They won't let him win.
Enough Romanians understand they are the new forward base for NATO & pawns chosen to start WWIII.

This has never happened before in the EU, but you can look forward to it happening more and more.
When the voting circus no longer works the way those in power need it to, they reveal their real power.
