@shortstories - Libraries are generally good, even if librarians are often communistic.
I often say that living well, is about maintaining balance. As long as librarians know their place (shushing people, putting books away, and light housekeeping), then things are fine. When librarians start aspiring to "have an impact"... then there's a problem. But it's nothing that replacing a librarian can't fix.
It's an easy job. It won't be hard to find someone else willing to keep books organized. 😎🍻
@shortstories - I see. There's an ambiguity because the word "Library" can refer to different concepts... and you meant the other meaning.
Roger that. I'm changing my vote.
Should I delete the poll and word it better
Like is book sharing "communist" and are Libraries "communist" because there is book sharing
And are libraries "good or bad"
Are you able to change your vote after voting?
@shortstories - delete and repost? Up to you my friend. 🤔💁🏻♂️🍻 I'm not sweating it though.
@shortstories - I can't change my vote. 😆😂🤣
Anyway, I vote libraries (referring to the object of a building, filled with many book-shaped objects) are not communist, and are not bad.
@YoMomz
I was not asking about librarians but about libraries!
Since books are shared does that make ;libraries communist?
If you had a library where all the librarians said they endorsed "capitalism" as better than "communism" would the library still be communist because it functions by sharing books?
