If you say that something is two times less than something and the two things you are comparing are both positive quantities you do not know what you are talking about
Twelve is one time more than six
Eighteen is two times more than six
Zero is one time less than six
So negative six is two times less than positive six

@shortstories - The intersection of math class, and english class, can be an interesting place.
Math has precise and well-defined rules. And English language in common use, doesn't. So is it a mathematical formula being described? Or is just a turn of phrase? 🤔🤔
