@Based_Accelerationist - Well, everyone knows that good will always prevail.
But the flip side is that evil also, always prevails.
They go back and forth.
@YoMomz It's one thing to observe the cyclical nature of our universe, it's another to think that's its only nature and that it applies to a single species.
When someone tells you "good always prevails", as if that is even relevant or meaningful in such a situation, they're either on hopium or selling it. Usually they want to promote apathy or devotion.
Bad times don't necessarily create strong men, only if the right conditions are met. And we possess the technology to prevent such a scenario.
@YoMomz The one thing that might go back and forth indefinitely, is creation and destruction. So for practical reasons, I'll equate "good" with freedom and "evil" with slavery.
There is nothing guaranteeing that good will prevail. There's no pendulum if humanity is neutered on a genetic level to become the perfect slaves and every country is a glorified concentration camp.
Abrahamic religion is proof that the pendulum doesn't "reset" after enough time, the cage will last forever at this rate.
