@Zeb This tech will be terrible for humanity, as with any technological advance in a collectivist dystopia. It will allow the elites to replace women as the gatekeepers of reproduction. Only the most subservient sheep will be granted the ability to reproduce. It also means they can safely sterilize the useless eaters.
This is another one of TFM's red flags, his love for technology and dismissal of any problems under the guise of male empowerment. Technology is the opposite of male empowerment.
@Based_Accelerationist
You're assuming women will disappear and the world will be separated heavily into one global elite who lives in a space station, for instance, and the rest of men who will accept being slaves in exchange for nothing.
That's a possible dystopia but it would go against our biological nature - it would not come to be without ages of war while still having to develop such a terraformed station heavily separated from earth. Very, very unlikely.
@Zeb I'm assuming they'll use some bioweapon, like the covid shots, to sterilize the population to some degree, or make pregnancies far riskier. That's all it takes for the artificial womb to become a necessity.
And yes, I expect the vast majority of the population will accept slavery in exchange for the bare minimum, it's already happening and they will only grow more dependent on the system as time passes, especially with CBDC and digital IDs.
Do you see any other future at this rate?
@Based_Accelerationist
No, I don't. Sterilization (expanded feminism), cbdc and digital IDs are a certainty at this point.
I see the world splitting into this hellish dystopia and the rest of the world who will be, mostly due to their incompetence and incompatibility with the west, completely disconnected from this retardation.
More akin to the future Brave New World, where you had the "Savage" lands that were not part of the "society".
There will be a lot of wars going forward, random shit.
Pregnancy Simulating but does it actually produce offspring?
@shortstories
In the article it says it DOES.
It claims to be capable to carry the pregnancy to 100% of its completion, even longer than the 9 months women take.
