If MGTOW was never shadowbanned would it have been a true threat to the establishment?

@basedbagel The only "threat" that MGTOW supposedly presents is that it gets men to stop living their lives for the benefit of women. Namely, to stop putting in a lot of work to impress them. This often means they are earning less money, which means they are being less productive. This means the government gets less in taxes and economic output, which lessens their power.

But MGTOW did not cause this. It is more of a label than anything. Men will still respond based on present conditions.

@houseoftolstoy

Well said.

What got me thinking was why crush the movement with such force so early?

It's not like we had any MGTOW congressman it was like the big brother program at scale.

@basedbagel It is easier to kill momentum of ideas when they are smaller in scope. From their view, if too many men check out of the role of being the dutiful productive citizen, they not only are not creating more economic output, but they might get other ideas. Ideas such as, "Why would I want to fight for my country?" You can see this with the military recruiting crisis (though the vaxx mandates were not helping either).

Men checking out = a decline in the system.

@houseoftolstoy

I agree but if they don't want people to check out, maybe don't browbeat the people you NEED to defend you?

Foolishness at this scale is unprecedented. Plus IMO and divorce will make more men check out than MGTOW could ever dream of

@basedbagel Yes, they are foolish. That is exactly why they kept pushing. They must have thought, "Men still participate fully even though we have altered the deal, so difference will it make to push things a little further?" They must have freaked out that men started to just stop playing the game, because in the end, they know they need men.

Backing out will be nearly impossible, thanks to women voting. It is not as if they can give men a better deal. But they pushed too far and too fast.

@houseoftolstoy @basedbagel

It's about control. Not freedom or choices. They don't want men being mgtow so take that option off the menu. It's not the profit to the system is too low so remove it from the shelf.

@redmaple @houseoftolstoy

But men are still checking out.

The employment rate and military recruitment are evidence of this.

The elite are naive if they think that stopping us from sharing in on social meda makes us blind to the broken system

@basedbagel I tend to think yes, but who knows. I remember seeing MGTOW gaining a lot of momentum in the wake of Jordan Peterson getting bit. Then the adpocalypse and hate group labeling.
mgtow kind of calls out the emperor's new clothes, or exposes the man behind the curtain. Once you see it, it's hard to ignore. Pretty much any man can relate to it if he's honest with himself.

@basedbagel - I would have liked to think so... but now I think I would've been mistaken.

Thankfully, the establishment is incompetent. I'll take it. 🍻

@basedbagel Nope MGTOW isnt a threat to noone nothing the real threat to the stablishment is Veganism since all deseases that keep people weak and dependent to the system is derive from meat, dairy and eggs consumption.

@basedbagel The establishment is the threat to the establishment as it's ways are unsustainable. Mgtows are men that recognize that and get outside of the destructive ways for self-preservation.

Also, mgtow becoming popular is different from men actually living the mgtow way or outside the establishment. It's easier said than done. Most men are slaves to sex, female validation and social validation.
