@dander When they do it in Czech Republic have mainly one reason and that is make money from normal citizens. When they stop you check your car from outside and check your licenses. Another the day they do random stops they often look out for speeding cars and even in cities enforce stupid laws to collect money through Fines.

@dander - I think it's too little, too late. It seems intrusive... but depending on the circumstances, I can see how it may be appropriate.

I can't escape the feeling though, that it would be entirely unnecessary in the absence of women's rights, because the low amount of crime wouldn't justify it.
