Some people claim a lot of the people who led the Vietnam Hippie Protestors were musicians whose parents worked for the military
Look into Laurel Canyon where a lot of these musicians supposedly performed
Some people claim the hippies were a government operation to discredit war protestors who tended to be conservative before the hippies
Also a lot of government workers might have wanted the Vietnam war to be lost even if a minority supported winning the Vietnam war because a lot of Government workers are Statist Marxist Communists
