Science is not based on eye witness accounts, it is based on falsifiable hypotheses, and repeatable and verifiable experiments. There is a reason that a scientist just "seeing" something is not counted as empirical evidence. Countless scientists have seen things which were mistakes or they misinterpreted the evidence.

You are wrong. We are not talking a legal process, we are talking scientific evidence.
You must learn the difference between evidence in a legal court, and the evidence that science requires.
Before you know this, you cannot understand the arguments I make.

@PawelK @slashdot Battery technology that does not destroy the environment. Massive amounts of electricity (in europe). Charging stations at a similar density to gasoline stations, nuclear power plants in europe. And all this at a price on par with a gasoline driven car.

@jeffcliff @slashdot I couldn't care less what some ogaboga culture does in their ogaboga countries. I can buy oil from the US or Norway, and if you remove all socialist taxes, gasoline becomes ridiculously cheap.
As for being affected, I pay about 1.6 EUR per l or so, and with my car that's nothing, compared with the ROI I get from driving in a gasoline car from point A to point B and back without using socialist public transport.

Me witnessing it personally is not evidence, unless I could replicate it, at will, in front of cameras, equipment, etc. My first respons, lacking that, would be to question my sanity and go to a psychologist. ;)

That is not the same thing as saying that kaballah is "true". it is the same thing as saying that someone mentally ill fantasies should be dealt with, because he might act on his mentally ill fantasies. That does not say the fantasies are true.

it is funny... many metal people I know are way more kind and accepting than many christians. Maybe the music gives them a way to get rid of all their aggressive feelings, so only calm and peace remain?

I actually _have_ heard about supernatural things from people in iceland. Yet... the common factor is... it's always stories, it's never repeatable, and it never happens in the vicinity of scientific equipment, and of course, I've never seen anything myself.

If peer reviewed, empirical evidence is presented, it will just become a matter of fact, as long as the hypothesis is falsifiable, and there is no underdetermination.
Lacking that, I will most certainly not be looking into it.
