In my little corner of the IT market, there has always been little tribes surrounding senior manager and they roam from company to company,

@Dan_Ramos The idea here is that multiple companies offer search based on google, that will become better than google, as google deteriorates.

I would suspect that google would heavily renegotiate their prices, terms and conditions, if it turns out that some of them, basing their search indexes on multiple other (google, microsoft etc.) end up attracting more search users than google themselves.

@lifewithtrees I use the term mentally ill or homo. I find that it better describes these types of people.

I stay because it is somewhat uncensored, and it is also not boring. Mainstream media and platforms are so censored and boring, they make me (and Jesus!) cry.

@freepatriot You must not sit and wait. As libertarians and individualists, we are all responsible for our own lives, and we must work every day to improve them. As a result, the lives of everyone is improved, since we realized that by acting on free markets, everones life is made better.

@davidallengreen @ChrisMayLA6 I don't know if I would call all on mastodon civilized, but for sure, they are way more interesting, their thoughts are way more diverse than what you see in the mainstream, which makes for a very good place if you actually want to discuss and challenge yourself with opinions you would never even hear of in the mainstream.

@Dan_Ramos I am very curious about how long google will accept competitors in the form of startpage.com who made a business of removing everything innovative from google and just has plain search, based on googles link database. Seems to me that they are a prime targets for googles lawyers at some point in time, when their search customers has dropped too much.

The EU was stopped from making chat control law twice. Now they are trying to do it through age verification, to pull in chat control through the backdoor. Very sinister!
