When I used Reddit a while back, I happened upon a sub called ShitLiberalsSay. Little did I know that this was by no means a conservative space, but a full blown commie one. It was then I found out that commies see anyone not far left as a liberal, including both the Repulican voter and typical Democrat voter.

These are the kinds of zealots who think the Democrats are a "Far Right" party. Rich, considering Republicans at best are a moderate right party in practice.

A man has a paintbrush. He is not good at painting and he is approached by another man. He asks the man with the paintbrush if he could borrow his, since he is lacking one. The man with the paintbrush agrees to lend it to this man. This second man was a talented painter, and he created masterpiece painting.

When others see this work of art and are amazed, the first man in his envy states "The artist would have amounted to nothing without me! I gave him the paintbrush!"

Every time I see a German pop up on any social media platform you will always get a spiel about how, "We are so embarrassed and ashamed that our country followed Hitler!" Followed by a lecture to others how they should also be ashamed to elect any politician who is even slightly nationalistic because "DON'T YOU DARE ELECT ANOTHER HITLER! DIDN'T YOU READ HOW I SAID WE DID THAT BEFORE!"

Germans are indeed insufferable to encounter online.

@sj_zero USAID falls under the category of "It's not that much money, so what is the point of cutting it? It won't make a real difference!" But if you were to cut something that accounts for more spending, such as Medicare or Social Security, we would hear that "It's too important for us to cut!"

So we will get nowhere on our spending problems if nothing is permitted to be touched if we accept these conclusions.

@deprecated_ii this has not been my experience with my marriage. We make sure that we are on the same page with our budget and we currently have no debt (except our house mortgage).

I am likely an outlier when it comes to this sort of thing, because I have heard far too many horror stories with men who have wives that lack any long term thinking and spend like drunken sailors.

Both my wife and I grew up in non-wealthy households, so that might have something to do with it.

Meanwhile the article is written with the emotional stability of a high school girl. But that is unfair to most high school girls, as most are not nearly this bad.
