@sickburnbro based on what was in one of the emails where Musk stated "why would I want to meet with a bunch of diplomats?", his autism may have unironically saved him from being another name on the list.

Being a sperg is often a curse (speaking from experience), but it can be a gift when you make it not worth the trouble of those who are attempting to coerce you into something that ends up being a bad thing.

And to make sure we do not fall into the trap that short sighted libertarians do, the order of operations goes like this: the welfare ends. THEN we can stop ICE activity. Thinking the order of operations are interchangeable shows that you have no ability to think.

I have a proposal to address the ICE activity/immigrant welfare fraud/immgration issues in general. This is a proposal I doubt anyone on the left would agree with (and probably a good number on the right too).

I accept ending all ICE raids and activity on the condition that we abolish all welfare and welfare adjacent programs. If the immigrants are really making it on their own, then welfare being gone will not affect them.

@Aether this is even worse than "why do we need farmers when food comes from the grocery store?" UberEats is just a completely unnecessary part of the chain when it comes to the food industry. The worst thing that would happen without UberEats and things like it (such as DoorDash) would be people having to get the food themselves rather than have it delivered. Everyone else in the process is way more important.

@ChristiJunior @sickburnbro Previously he was that type, as he was able to win and be relected in a district in Minnesota that was traditionally red (and now is represented by a Republican). Since becoming governor he has gone off the deep end and has no trace left of the supposed moderate he was portrayed as. Did he stray from what he was before, or did he just show who he truly was? Either way, he gets no sympathy from me for his downfall.

@Aether Yeah, no part of the colonoscopy is fun. Especially not the preparation the night before. You will never forget the feeling of the burning sensation of stomach acid coming out where the sun don't shine.

@sickburnbro I recall a whole lot of Louis Rossmann videos going over how much NYC makes no sense financially. For example, how much it costs to rent out a space for a store front in NYC is ridiculously high. To the point that there is no way for a lot of places to remain profitable.

I would not be shocked to see NYC call for a bailout in the future. It happened once before in the 1970s.

I frequently see topics of discussion where I want to chime in, but I realize in order to do so, I must reveal a part of myself that I fully intend to keep private. It is not worth accidently leaving a trail of evidence about yourself for some asshole who wants real harm done to you just for a discussion which will most likely no longer have relevance a week later.

@deprecated_ii I saw in a group chat of my real life friends basically saying "there has to be another way" when it comes to ICE operations. As if there can be a non-messy way to deal with people who are defiant to the point these commies are.

Far too many people do not realize that every law has the implicit threat of violence if you decide to be non-comliant long enough.

it's extremely difficult to subdue a man who doesn't want to be subdued without seriously injuring him. people who've never been on either side of that equation think it's so easy

add drugs and it can get much harder

can't use a taser for shit in winter either, and of course retards also screech about taser use regardless of circumstances

there's no good option that people will accept other than just letting these retarded commies do whatever they want. warning shots? yeah right. beanbag rounds? muh police brutality. choking out suspects? same

all "less lethal" methods inevitably kill someone and then they're verboten
this is just "pretending not to understand" again - but it's very simple

- yes, "obstructing" is written to be vague on purpose, because the state wants the force to be on the side of "prove this is allowed". They have no interest in writing laws that is "you can't do A,B,C .. "
- this means it is left up to courts to decide what is obstruction.
- if police are arresting you for obstruction, your way to deal with this is not physical combat.

@atomic You can take the relationship element out of this video, and it still has relevant context for anyone when discussing earnings. That is why when I see someone proclaim how they are making 6 figures, I figure on most cases they are living somewhere that has a high cost of living. Not that there are no exceptions, but you should measure your earnings based on what you can get for them, not just the raw number itself.
