Something I observed happened to me again. I had eaten a lot of food over 2 days, and the very next day my body stopped giving me hunger signals. It was the opposite of starvation mode (that same term inappropriately used by many who are obese). It was a forced fasting mode.
At least I know that I should not have to worry about gaining too much weight, since my body will simply say "slow down before you get fat!"
@yockeypuck @grey >the leaders [of the trucker convoy] who had funds frozen because they came from criminal channels inside Russia
This is a new one. Fun fact: you can just post lies on Reddit, and it is not against the law. Even if you are a state actor posting this sort of thing on all your sock puppet accounts, as long as you are not caught you set the narrative for everyone foolish enough to trust comments on Reddit.
@sardonicsmile Perhaps we need to have a collapse and have some readjustment. But I guarantee it will not be pleasant, and women like this will soon realize that the consequences of a lack of investment by men will mean hard times. Eventually we will rebalance to the system where either men are scarce (thus true harems being common) or heavily enforced monogamy. Either way, the feminist system will be necessarily pushed out of the way for a system that can actually function.
@sardonicsmile with a larger number of the men who are unable to have their own woman to pair with, a lot of men have been checking out of the system. You simply will not have men motivated to work hard if they are unable to have a wife of their own to have a family with. The current trend towards soft harems where many women are having out of wedlock children and many men who are left out of the sexual marketplace means we are due for civilizational collapse.
@sardonicsmile the "natural balance" that has fewer men with harems has other consequences this woman has not considered. Civilization is able to be far more advanced when there are more men invested in the system succeeding. Having fewer men means you just don't have the raw numbers for this to be possible. Our current issue is not the total number of men, but men who have a stake in the success. Men who have no wife and kids of their own are not going to be nearly as invested.
@TenaciousGoat how can you possibly have under 1000 steps in a day? I get that many just from my morning routine.
@Justicar And I could see that even that system would have issues, but at least the states being the bigger factor would allow for better governance than our overarching federal government. California, for example, would probably still suck, but at least other states would have their regions be more functional with the principle of subsidiarity instead of the top down system we have now.
I see balkanization being a very strong possibility in the US's future.
@Justicar I would not consider India to be running things smoothly overall, but I cannot speak from personal experience. China is not perfect either, and you are correct that their total control is a major factor in them functioning as well as they are.
We could definitely have things working better if we actually enacted the principles of federalism, where the states themselves are the most prominent governing bodies, but that has long since been a thing of the past.
@caekislove With Kyle Rittenhouse, his crime was preventing rioters from destroying property and defending himself when the rioters got mad. Because as we all know, when rioters are angry over "the correct cause," no one is allowed to stop them from carrying out their destruction.
So basically Kyle Rittenhouse was interfering with the leftist cause of the moment, and his self defense was inexcusable in their eyes.
Doing recon listening to state propaganda NPR, and they had a guest on to talk about how RFK Jr. gutting the HHS was bad because "the HHS saved the government money by preventing fraud and abuse in the system with their oversight."
Okay, that might be true. But it begs the question of why is it even possible to have this fraud and abuse in the first place. Maybe we shouldn't be granting money so easily for every request for funding. That's the real problem, not the cuts to bloated institutions.
@deprecated_ii more of an overcorrection, as there are plenty of cases where people do eat too much salt (especially true for those who eat out every day of the week instead of cooking for themselves).
Salt for the most part will not kill you, but eating unnatural amounts of it can be a problem. Just don't eat out as often.
It reminds me of sugar. Fine in natural quantities, but a problem when you eat it in levels humans were never designed to eat.
While I see plenty of talk about the anti-white agenda of the Episcopalian "church," I have not seen as much talk about the fact that President Trump actually granted asylum to a group of white people on the basis that they were being persecuted. So I will give him credit for doing something that is not just in the interests of Israel.
@BobsonDugnuttHB @deprecated_ii "Dude, we can just have a service based economy, where we provide services for everyone! And we can just import everything because we are so rich from our service based economy! Just don't think about where we will get actual wealth if we don't make anything, because the dollar will NEVER collapse!"
In a way, we have become victims of our own success with previous economic momentum still keeping us going. But for how long will that last?
When I think I have seen everything, am proven wrong. I am seeing a cornhole competition televised. I never knew anyone would take a game like that seriously enough to be doing full blown competitions. That game should just remain something you do with extended family on the 4th of July or frat house gatherings.
If you have the access to a cattle farmer and abundant freezer space (at least a medium sized deep freeze bare minimum), I would recommend purchasing quarter/half/whole cow for butchering. It will not only be a better value in the long run, but I know I can taste the difference with the steaks, roasts, and ground beef from a cow you get directly from the farmer versus buying it at a grocery store.
A half cow will pretty much fill a medium deep freezer. So keep in mind your storage space.
Looks like this will be my new home. Warning: I (probably) have Asperger's, so my be prepared for my autism to show through.
I don't think I am a right wing extremist, but I am sure anyone with low testosterone might think otherwise.
