Well wow what a shitty story with dysfunctional drama, aborted plot, and a castrated theme. I gave Ridley Scott the benefit of the doubt but when Philipp K Dick appeared during the ending credits it reminded me why Blade Runner sucked so hard. It's another work where its contribution to tradition (especially the visual language) vastly exceeds its own merit, which is hardly above that of a TV feature/show and completely forgettable. Ford's limp Jewish performance is the icing on the cake.
Watching Blade Runner (for the first time, for some reason). In the 80s the technological advancement trajectory was such that they really thought in 2019 we'd have flying cars, robots indistinguishable from humans, off-planet mining, and a multiracial America where multiple languages compete over the same territory. Looks like only one of those things came true.
It can make sense to see their manic insistence on getting everyone injected in this context, either due to immediate lethal effects or long-term damage to fertility.
The Elites really think there are too many people on earth, trying to see their perspective logically
- if you have no sense or identity based on Volk/ethnie
- if you don't believe in God
- if you don't believe man is made in the image of God, but just "another animal"
- then it follows that thinning the herd, or eliminating everyone not needed for your ideal world, becomes viable, even necessary
All this against the universal conscience (don't kill) present in every human being.
There is a Beach Party tonight relatively close to me. That beach is usually one for families and older people, but great for everyone who just wants to enjoy themselves in peace. Tonight people will be bussed in, a DJ will be there, and there's a reasonable entrance fee. I don't like loud environments but this seems like an interesting change from my usual schedule.
