@Tfmonkey I'd like to revise #2. This comes from "The Mind Illuminated" by John Yates.

The conscious in this sense is really the mediator between several background subminds: one each for sight, hearing, taste, feeling, and smell, one for the intellectual-emotive mind (it's so connected it's one thing), and one for the narrative mind, which provides "binding moments" that make associations between the stimuli of two or more of the other minds. Each of these subminds has its own subminds too.

@Tfmonkey There's also a subtle background popping sound in all the versions.

Reinstalling Cyberpunk now. I played it on release day and a couple weeks after. I'm curious how it's improved! My biggest hope is they improved the crappy AI and nerfed the Netrunner playstyle as it was way too easy.

@obihahn Over anything else, foreign aid freaks my brother out. "We're having a rough time here, I'm barely making it, and we send money to other countries? Really?"

@UncleIroh Nuclear should be private but regulated for safety and disposal. And the only safety parts that should be regulated are those that could cause damage to the commons. I don't care if workers don't want to wear their protective gear if I'm not paying their health insurance. But I do care about meltdowns and procedures around that should be regulated by the states.

@UncleIroh Interesting graph. I'd personally fall between the Minarchism and Paleo-Conservative/Classical Liberal line. Fire Protection should fall under the purview of local municipalities. Roads should too. Buses and subways should not, however, and education should not at all.
