I actually feel for productive workers (men and women) when they realize how better off unproductive employees have it. Productive people feel betrayed and lied to.

This is why I cherish and treasure recessions and depressions: because the first ones to get mauled by economic reality are the unproductive. Meanwhile, the productive strive and continue to live.

@kaiservenom Well, I feel for the men who get "crowded out" and overlooked because they have quotas to fill. As a single guy and a male l never had a chance for advancement. Even though I am in a male dominated profession. Women are ALWAYS pulled into management because they cannot trust them to do the work we do.
I agree with your 2nd point. Recession is a correction that needs to happen. It does not make up for the years we put in the trenches only to get passed up by diversity hires.
