@sardonicsmile Only thing I can understand from his point. Was probably that if it become openly traded people will try to run away from China and will dump every yuan and nobody would want to have it. So it would become worthless.
@sardonicsmile somewhat, chinese yuan will become the worlds reserve currency even if china does not wany it, but I think they do want it. The next world reserve currency will probably be a brics currency not necessarily yuan, but definitely controlled by china.
@sardonicsmile Do not know why it would push down the yuan. It should be the other way. If it will become more in demand without printing it should go up and the chinese rich people should become more rich.
