The Europeans sent to Australia were criminals.

@sardonicsmile no they were used the same way, theyre were different attempts to restrict undesirables by especially criminsl colonies, but they ususly just were pushed into different ones. only early on were american settlers that way. and for both anyone who wanted cheap land to settle would go there so thats most of who went
