@sardonicsmile

I want a flock camera system to be used to prove that people were not at a location when a crime occured where the data is not erased and when you get accused of a crime years ago it is shown that you were not at the location

Unless flock cameras are used to get a lot of not guilty verdicts of regular people who do not have politucal connections I do not support there implementation but I am not saying that people should do anything illegal to solve the problem

@shortstories @sardonicsmile the left-wing position is that Amazon should have mass surveillance but the state shouldn't, because Amazon but not public servants can be trusted.

a little weird. My position is that this is inevitable as a coping mechanism, and that it's mainly bad in the way that all coping mechanisms are - that the primary weakness or injury is never addressed. Importing hostile foreigners to make them a criminal underclass to then mass-surveil them isn't going to result in a society nearly as peaceful as the original one.
Chinese-style mass-surveilance and social credit scores were coming to America, regardless. People are just arguing over what form they'll take, at this point
