Personally, I think the niqab is too much covering as a garment in many cases. A shayla is much more flattering and still maintains a degree of modesty.

The only problem is you might confuse one person for another if they dress where you can only see the eyes
That or vision problem in the alleged version I heard where seeing both eyes is too much so only one eye is covered unless they switch which eye is covered to prevent lazy eye
