You know what, fuck it, i have been in a diet for five years, brown rice, veggies, protein, keeping my sugar levels low, hell, my stomach can't take more than one a few pizzas, donuts? only had one and my stomach was punishing me.
only sticking to water, milk and diet/zero cokes, i drink soo much water, i had to start taking blood pressure meds with diuretics, that how much water i retained ...
yet am 322lbs sure i MIGHT have lost some fat and gain a bit of muscle but am still a 44 weight.

Walking or running 1 mile is 100 Calories for someone of average weight on average
On an ellipitical you can burn more Calories per hour with less impact on the joints
3500 Calories to lose 1 pound
If an average person walks for 12 hours at 3 miles per hour that is 3600 Calories or about 1 pound
This would take 6 hours of running at 6 miles per hour
If you weigh double an average person you might walk at 3.5 miles per hour and burn 700 Calories per hour instead of 350 Calories per hpur
An average weight person who walks at X miles per hour burns 100x calories per hour
I found I can do 4 hours a day on an elliptical at 700 Calories per hour while watching videos with little pain
But if I walked the same distance as required to burn that many Calories I would be in great pain
This has to be gradually built up to
Start small and increase Calories by 10% per week if no injury occurs
If too much pain or i jury occurs then decrease Calories per week
@RodrickSage
Somewhere they claim going below 1000 Calories per day without consulting a doctor is not reccommended because of increased risk of gall stones
So although I was not telling you to do a specific diet but simply mentioning a diet someone could do
You could add on extra Calories from sources that violate that diet's rules if you are below 1000 Calories if you follow that diet which I am not telling you to follow
