Americans scream the Soviet Union was a huge success and the government should ban styrofoam because customers would be happy to return to restaurants and return their ceramic plates after they use the drive-thru and finish their meals.

My parents owned some cups and said restaurants used to give you cups they let you keep that were so high quality you could use them for years. Might have been made out of plastic instead of throw away materials
Pizza Hut and McDonald’s gave away collectible cups from Coca Cola.
