If woman can not bear children after 45 years old, would there be any reason for doctors not to start giving women over 45 testosterone to lower risk of osteoporosis if it was legal to do so

Probably in a much lower dose than body builders who use it illegally

They sometimes give them hormones associated with women in hormone replacement therapy already but maybe testosterone even though it is associated with men might prevent osteoporosis in women better

@shortstories I like that you ask questions like this. It's good for us to throw out ideas as they surface. Some of them should really be considered and research. There just isn't a good, fast, easy way to do all of our research into our questions. One person has to do it on their own and find time for it, and hopefully have the research skills to do it or good fortune to find the answers.

A bit of a morning rambling on my part, yes, but I just felt that I could relate to the aforementioned.
