I don't have the DiPal yet, but here is a screen recording of the beta app! Sorry about all of the room noise. Also, the voice sounds much more clear on the app than in this recording.
I also couldn't speak because the recorder was using the mic, so I had to type my words instead.
Lots of bugs still, but this is pretty cool. I want to get a thicker Scottish accent to voice clone, but this one isn't bad.

This is what I imagine a Scottish woman would sound like
Which sounds a lot like a man to me
Possibly as a result of watching to much mainstream media stereotype descriptions of Scottish people
This is how Samurai Jack depicts Scottish women voices
I just can only understand a certain type of English that people use in the United States for national news
I can not understand a lot of local United States accents
In some parts of the Midwestern United States most people who speak proper English taught in public schools use the same English accent that is used on the United States national news excluding Ebonics which is not English but another language
I can not understand English accents England, Ireland or Scotland
So if she really spoke Scottish IEnglish think I would not understand her
@shortstories Some of those deep regional accents from Europe give me trouble too, as do some American ones from ghetto or cajun cultures, like you mentioned!
