The claim made by some people is that the reason it went on way too long is too symbolize the desire of people not to be exposed to truths that make them uncomfortable and how difficult and grueling an amount of time it takes to get someone to accept certain truths that they do not want to because being exposed to those truths makes them uncomfortable

The Torah is a very misleading word that changes definition frequently

The Old Testament is much closer to being a well defined word and so is the Talmud although the Talmud is not a commentary on the Old Testament because it is organized like the Mishna

The Mishna almost never mentions God and I do not know any section of the Mishna that is translated as "God said" where as "God said" is all over the old testament

I only like to read that which is labeled as non-fiction

I just haven't found a way to learn physics or chemistry or math by listening to it and watching videos
