Anyone who supports slavery on account of an individual's race will as of necessity also encourage a certain degree of forced integration through violence so that slaves can not be permitted to segregate themselves from slave masters who are of a different race than themselves
They might in some cases promote forced segregation to keep the slaves out of the slavemasters' best property but just because violence is used to force segregation does not mean they do not use it to force integration

The annual number of recalls isn’t a reliable indicator of whether our food is safe or not. It doesn’t take into account other key indicators like volume of product recalled or how much illness is being caused by contaminated food.
Also, a higher number of recalls might not indicate more contaminated products. It could mean more enforcement or more company testing of the same universe of bad products.
It’s hard to fully understand what is happening with the information that’s available.
