We simply need to prosecute immigrants who committed crimes just like we prosecute people who are not immigrants this would be a more effective solution than deportation
Deportation without prison time provides no reason not to try to come back

One step backwards to go two steps forward.
They clearly have no ability in selected candidates who can perform in those roles and it would likely turn off their supporters before a General Election.
