I am really hating this whole K-1 and k-3 form thing. I have been looking at some other options and found GAZ ticket and it is a commodities futures but when I read the prospectus I could not find anything with regards to k-1 any of you guys have a solution to the k-1 issue for investing in gas?
@37712 @Tfmonkey @ButtWorldsMan If you are filing a K1/K3 form you should probably have a tax preparer and an attorney on retainer. It sounds like you are investing in an "Operator"? A gentleman who seeks out sites for drilling. That is a very long term/high risk investment. You must be a VC? I'd get an attorney on retainer, AND a consultant on Oil And Gas Deals, right away!

I am going to be filing a k-1 and probably a k-3 bc I invested in UNG and BNO, these are commodity futures ETFs, I am not directly investing in the companies who do the drilling, only on the future price of the product.
