@basedbagel It’s because it’s not worth it I always get wrangled into a foreman position and end up drinking more because I accept the responsibility of the work the others do deal with customers,inspectors and the boss’s bullshit order everything layout the project and deal with lazy fuck heads on their phones all day with no care in the world

Most types of position are supervisor/micromanager with slightly better pay with more hours and more responsibility and you becoming slave for company
Where you get to be blamed for company even when you have no power and you get fuck by upper managment
Most intelligent people lack dark triad personality traits That most types of people have in those positions
Because these types of people know how to manipulate people but lack skills for blue collar job
@Stahesh @basedbagel it’s funny to me how companies try and give people a title for the ego trip,short guys really fall for this one a lot,there use to be a President and 1 Vice President,now you have 38 Vice Presidents compartmentalization the asphalt company had Vice President of finished product when I was working on a project,I drove a golf cart over a section that wasn’t finished and Juan came flexing his authority,I told him to go fuck hisself

Their family/friends avoid or walk all over their loser dark triad ass but at work people respect their title of middle manager so they don't starve.
I think this is why boomers hold on to jobs well past retirement age even when they have a wife,kids and hobbies.
They just don't want to let go of that one part of their life where they have any power.

I used to envy these lazy ass "managers" that slowed me down and didn't do any work until I realized that this is all they got and it's as good as it gets for them.

Trust me I agree with you but the problem is people like you who actually work hard and understand how to manage people don't do it because they either don't want the responsibility or they just want to do their job and go home.
This leaves the playing field open for these lazy ass people who don't want to do any work and they cause more problems
