Is Fallout Raccoon the prepper raccoon in your family
@Scubbie @Tfmonkey Looks like you found the guy he was talking about, eh? Well done. No relation!
As a prepper myself, I'd always just remind people to consider more than one guy's perspective and opinions, rather than follow just one channel religiously.
People who need direction will benefit the most from doing this when they feel lost. Put together a playlist and run through it, saving the best and clearest ones. AND WRITE DOWN what you learn. (And buy good books with illustrations.)
@RoninGrey @Tfmonkey I would be interested in foraging and trapping books along with natural herbs and medicine,I am somewhat prepared but am also looking to be more mobile and getting maps and charts of the ICW and local rivers as I plan to purchase a motorsailer live aboard as my escape pod soon
@RoninGrey @Tfmonkey Growing food is not gonna be an option I am in a duplex north of Orlando but close to the St Johns river I intend if SHTF to go "shallow drafting" trapping /fishing hunting and foraging"
@Tfmonkey @RoninGrey I'm from the south, so my grandpa had 88 acres farm.I spent summers there doing all that fishing, hunting and farming my greedy uncles sold it all after his death.I may start a raised worm bed up thou next summer for fishing once I get a the boat project off the ground for fishing bait
@Scubbie @RoninGrey learn how to can and preserve meat and grow worms for bait. There are lots of little hobbies you can do to develop survival skills that could be the difference between life and death.
