Had a big brain moment this evening. I needed to get a new shirt ironed, and I found the ironing board, but I could not find the iron.

But then I thought for a moment, what is an iron? In the end, it's just a warm piece of metal. So I took out a metal pan, heated it on the stove, and used the hot pan as my iron. And it worked, problem solved.

That is smart but sad at the same time

Ironing clothes is for wage slaves

Free people can not be fired for clothes that are not ironed

Unless you do not need it for a job and just iron clothes to look good for people that can not even fire you in which case it is even more sad

Lucky you did not get burned

@shortstories @houseoftolstoy
Hard agree on jobs that force you to,
but sometimes you just want to look sharp because its cool.

@mute_city @shortstories it was not for any job, I just wanted to get the shirt ironed. The point of the story was about problem solving, not a tale of "the man" oppressing me with a dress code. This shirt was not for work.
