Well . . . so much for Marvel Rivals. I'm just going to skip any game that has "cross-play" and allows people on controller to play against people on mouse and keyboard using "aim assist" which is just an aimbot hack built into the game to make "casual players" feel good.

I was having fun, but the sheer amount of aimbotting has absolutely killed any enjoyment I was having.

@Tfmonkey I really think you would enjoy BG3 it is turn based, and you don't have to get fucked by a bear unless that's your kink

@Scubbie I don't like turn-based games unless it's TTRPGs, and that's only because the game is just an excuse to hang out with your friends and play with toys.

@Tfmonkey they have multi player options, and it is strategic in nature but also solo able the game play and story is good but it is not free to play but can be moded I was impressed with the thief class

@Scubbie I'll check out Path of Exile 2 when it's on sale as the Mercenary class looked fun.

@Tfmonkey @Scubbie It will be free after they leave early access.

@Tfmonkey @Scubbie So far my main problem with marvel rivals is that is team based game.

So most of the time I play with retards that have zero gaming skills not mentioning they pick only DPS so no tank and sup.

I want to try POE2. Because they changed how the gems worked and no longer you need to depend RNG on equipment. There was so many rolls and grind for the color of sockets and all the links.

@Tfmonkey @Scubbie Because there are always equipments that hold me back but you can't change it or else you lose your skills and synergy.

I hate luck based stuff. This is my main problem with any card games.

@Tfmonkey I find it mildly amusing that the games industry can simultaneously be okay with aimbotting because "muh casuals" and yet at the same time decry it as cheating and bad in literally any other context.

Perhaps it was never about cheating?

@realman543 they create it to help the casuals feel good, but the skilled players learn that they can gain an objective advantage as well, and it breaks the game.

It's like giving your bad players steroids so they perform better, but then everyone starts taking steroids, and you can't compete unless you're taking steroids too.

This is why I prefer PvE games so I don't have to worry about hackers and bullshit like "cross-play" aim assits.

@Tfmonkey @realman543 i think u would like the division , imagine diablo / poe but with superior craft and upgrade mechanics , its under appreaciated , u might have claimed it for free in egl they gave it away years ago, kino af

@Tfmonkey Crossplay needs to be opt-in. I play Warhammer 40k: Darktide a good bit and on higher difficulties, non-PC players really drag the team down. The game wasn't balanced around console players.
