@VooDooMedic I don't really care either way about tax returns (I usually have to pay a small amount or get back something small like $100) but I think if you're going to offer a tax break to people who are allegedly taking care of someone else, then saying "dependent" probably should mean someone who is dependent on you and your money and doesn't have a choice / option to support themselves. Everything and everyone is gay-bar anyway, so it's whatever to me.
